  Incredible memories are made on these sacred grounds. This building is Truly FOR all people of the the Bay Area and is a light on a hill that cannot be hid. I'm told airline pilots use the Oakland Temple as a dependable landmark while making their approaches to the Airport. Leave your hardships at the entrance and stroll thru the peaceful grounds and visitor center. It's a slice of heaven on earth.

  I love coming to see the Temple every year. It brings me a lot of happiness and seeing the view is amazing. During Christmas time, seeing the lights is absolutely gorgeous. Wish my grandma was still here :'( I kept her a promise that I will go on a mission soon. Love you and miss you grandma, I'll see you soon in the Celestial Kingdom

  Everyone is so friendly! It's fun running into long-time friends in a very peaceful atmosphere. And of course a good feeling to do work for my ancestors!
