  East Bay Alliance Church is an Acts 1:8 Family. What this means to us is that we are the Family of God who is empowered by the Holy Spirit to reach people who do not know Jesus locally, regionally, and throughout the world. Our church is taking the necessary steps to live out this vision.
  
  Practically speaking it means that we prioritize Holy/Sacred living and Spiritual Disciplines. Prayer groups, Fasting, and regular gatherings are central to who we are. These Spiritual Disciplines allow us to be like Jesus in our local contexts.
  
  As part of the Christian and Missionary Alliance we lift Jesus up as our Savior, Sanctifier, Healer, and Coming King. (See the Alliance website for more details.)
  
  All that being said we still have room to improve as a body of believers, but I believe we are headed in the right direction. Come and join our movement, at 9:30 am for a service in English, or 11:00 am for one in Cantonese!
