  You will laugh, cry, dance, sing and learn something new and profound at every service. You will be welcomed and appreciated from day one. The combined wisdom of Reverend E, Reverend Robert and Reverend Anthony as well as all the practitioners who take turns offering treatments to the congregation is amazing and inspiring beyond words. Whatever your beliefs, your race, orientation, past history, EBCRS has something for everyone. The mission of this church is to promote world peace and you can experience it for hours on the corner of 41st & Telegraph every Sunday if you choose to. Come and check it out!

  Grew up in this church. My favorite part is how all religions are respected. It is not a religion itself. It is a way of living. It instill a great mindset in me. It is fun and diverse and has great people. Wonderful guided meditation and I LOVEEE Rev. E

  I started going here 2 years ago. Was a wandering Jew (raised Jewish - doing mostly Buddhist events) when I found "East Bay." Rev. Eloise Oliver and the wonderful music make my heart sing. I've now made lots of new friends there and have deepened my appreciation of Oakland, CA (best kept secret in Bay Area). I can't recommend it more highly!

  if you live in the neighborhood, get ready for an onslaught of really crappy drum-circle action every Sunday. But you know, they really want to be spiritual or something, so it's totally OK to act like a 22 year old burnout at golden gate park and annoy the hell out of your neighbors.
  
  so "namaste" you self important, candle burning, steaming pile of smug.
