  I truly love being a part of Park Boulevard Presbyterian Church. PBPC has a small "home-town" feel with it's smaller congregation, but there are new people visiting all the time and some younger families joining from its Glenview location as well as various other neighborhoods or Oakland and beyond. This shows a really positive growth potential.
  
  It's the kind of church that I was seeking to be a part of a few years ago when going through a difficult time in life--small enough to feel like a family reaching out to you, but large enough to know the messages delivered can speak to many people seeking positive words, guidance, friendship and community.
  
  There are opportunities for you AND your children to grow and discover God, and just socialize over coffee and desserts after Sunday sermons, yet not get lost in the shuffle of a 'mega-church'. My little boy (age 4), loves coming to church with me, visiting with the other children in the nursery (awesome for moms of 4-and-unders!...part of why I originally joined), and running around in the gym after with the bigger kids who have classes.
  
  If you're a visitor, chances are someone will notice you and welcome you warmly. It is a place where my voice can be heard, so my ideas and suggestions are welcome and considered in order to make this church more open to the coming generations, as well as keeping the existing ones.
  
  The music has been changing to include many of the newer Christian pop songs that can be found on iTunes, (their sermons can be found there too!), while still playing some traditional hymn favorites too. But the best part of the church for me has been the sermons. Pastor Chris Gelini's sermons really hit home with me several years ago when I most needed to hear the messages he delivered, but they've stayed fresh with me even today, helping me keep perspective on the daily ups and downs of life.
  
  Great church, definitely drop by for a Sunday service!
